Erected by/MARGARET BOWIE/in loving memory of/her dear husband/GEORGE mcLEMAN/who died suddenly/ay Ullapool 31st Aug. 1940/aged 69 years/also their three sons/JOHN JAMES/JOHN and GEORGE/who died in infancy/also the said/MARGARET BOWIE/who died 16th April 1952/aged 77 years.
Christ shall clasp the broken chain/closed when we meet again.
