In loving memory of/our dear father/JOHN MACLENNAN/died 29 October 1932/also our dear mother/LEXY MACPHERSON/died 5 March 1972.

My Grandfather John MacLennan died aged just 63 leaving my Grandmother Lexy with three young children the oldest was 12 and the youngest 5. After my father married in 1949 Granny left Fearnamore to live in Raasay near to her maternal family. Granny was about 77 when she died. My father (Duncan) is now 94 years old and when visiting Annat graveyard some 8 years ago he was upset that he hadn't taken a wee stone from it. Well I did that when I visited this week and I will be giving it to him today. I know he will be so thrilled. My Seanair's (Grandfather) parents are buried in the same cemetery but I don't know where.
