MACKENZIE/in memory of/their beloved father/JOHN MACKENZIE/who died at Annat/on the 7th Dec. 1884/aged 74 years/and their dear mother/ANNE MacGREGOR/who died at Annat/on the 7th March 1915/aged 88 years/also/MURDO ALEXANDER/beloved son of/DONALD MACKENZIE/who died on the 20th March 1919/aged 1 year.

and dear father/DONALD MACKENZIE/inspector of the Poor/died 22 Oct. 1927 aged 63 years/our dear mother/GEORGINA IRONSIDE/died 1st Jan. 1930, aged 47 years/their grandchild/GEORGINA/died 20th Oct. 1941 aged 1 year/her dear mother/JANET MacCULLOCH/died 20th July 1966 aged 59 years/["recent"].


In/loving remembrance/of/JOHN MACKENZIE/blacksmith/who died of sunstroke/at Cincinnati, Ohio, USA/on the 17th July 1887/aged 26 years/interred there in/Spring Grove Cemetery/Sec. 58, grave 318/CHRISTINA/died 15th May 1935 aged 66 years.

Just a small correction from Death Certificate of Anne MacGregor. She died 7 Jan 1918 age 88, at Annat- parents were John MacGregor (merchant) and Margaret MacLean

'Donald Maclezie' should of course read 'Donald Mackenzie' He and his brother Murdoch (the M Mackenzie mentioned) erected this stone
