In memory of/DONALD McKENZIE/(Loggie)/died April 1848/aged 54 years/and his wife/SARAH (Mor)/died 9th March 1870/aged 74 years/
Erected by/their son KENNETH 1901/re-erected 2002 by/his NZ. descendants.

Donald MacKenzie married Sarah also known as Martha/Mor MacLeod, daughter of Donald MacLeod and Anne MacKenzie
Kenneth MacKenzie 2nd of Badluarach married Elizabeth MacKenzie, daughter of Donald MacKenzie of Fisherfield and his 2nd wife Jannet MacKenzie, the 17th child of George MacKenzie 2nd of Gruinard and his 1st wife Margaret MacKenzie. The 8th child of Donald MacKenzie of Fisherfield and his 2nd wife Jannet MacKenzie was Elizabeth MacKenzie who married Kenneth MacKenzie 2nd of Badluarach
Colin MacKenzie 1st of Badluarach was married to Mary MacKenzie, daughter of William MacKenzie of Achilty and Kinnahaird
Colin was a Captain in the Jacobite army under their kinsmen George MacKenzie 3rd Earl of Cromarty in Prince Charles revolt of 1745-1746 and commanded the men of Ballone.
Colin MacKenzie's father was Alexander MacKenzie 3rd of Ballone, married to Barbara MacKenzie of Dundonnell
