Under this stone lies the/body of JEAN HOUSTOUN/eldest daughter of Provost/HOUSTOUN a most amiable/virtuous and every way well/disposed girl betweeen 17 and 18/years of age who departed this/life the 3rd August 1766 to thre/great grief of her sorrowing/friends/Also to the memory of/Mss KATHERINE HOUSTOUN/daughter of Provost HOUSTOUN/and relict of/the Reverend JOHN URQUHART/minr of the Gospel at Fearn/who departed this life/at Inverness/21 February 1836/in the 82nd year of her age/and/to the memory of/CHRISTINA URQUHART/her daughter who died/20 April 1854/in the [5?]9th year of her age.
