Henrietta, Thomas McIntosh.

Under this stone is inter'd the body/of HENRIETTA McKENZIE  who departed/this life the 26 day of March 1814. Infant/daughter of Mr. O. McINTOSH and of his/spouse M. MUNRO, now residing at/Flowerburn Mains.

Departed this life on the day of June/1825 aged 9 years their dearly beloved/most promising & highly interesting son/THOMAS McINTOSH whose remains are also/here inter'd.

**"Tho it be hard to bid thy heart divide, and lay the gem of all thy love asifde; Faith tells thee and it tells thee not in vain that thou shalt meet thy THOMAS yet again; No ill can reach him now, he rests above, safe in the bosom of celestial love; his short but yet tempestuous way is o'er and tears shall trickle down his cheeks no more; Oh see how soon the flowers of life decay, how soon terrestial pleasures fade away;this star of comfort for nine years given, just rose on Earth, then set, to rise in Heaven."**
