In memory of/WILLIAM MUNRO/Hill Cottage/for many years governor/of the county prison/and afterwards bailie of the/Royal Burgh of Dingwall/who died there on 24th April 1896/aged79 years/deeply respected/and of/CHRISTINA MUNRO/his wife/who died at Nairn on 26th Jany 1906.
