In memory/of/KATHARINE MARGARET FORBES/born in Canton, China 24th October 1914/killed by enemy action while on duty/at St. Thomas's Hospital, London/on 15th September 1940/greatly loved and greatly loving/and of her father/DONALD FORBES/born in Culbokie 6th May 1871/died at Conon Bridge 30th Jan 1958/a loyal servant of the Hong Kong and/Shanhai Banking Corporation/in the Far East for 33 years/by all who knew him/and her mother/CHRISTINA MARY MACLEAN/who died at Inverness/on 20th Jan. 1974, aged 87.
