In/loving memory of/MARGARET MACLENNAN/who died 3rd January 1947/beloved wife of/WILLIAM MACPHAIL/Balvaird/who died 5th June 1951/and their loving son/WILLIAM/who was killed in action/at Beaumont Hamel/16th November 1916, aged 19 years/also their loving daughter/EMILY CHISHOLM/who died at Balvaird on 3rd July 1959.
