James & Elizabeth (Macmillan) Macdonald & family.

Erected/by/JAMES MACDONALD/coal merchant, Muir of Ord/in loving memory of his son/DONALD/who died 12th April 1909/aged 7½ years.


Sadly missed and deeply mourned.


also DUNCAN who fell at the/Battle of Arras 9th April 1917/aged 23 years/also ELIZABETH MACMILLAN/the beloved wife of the above/JAMES MACDONALD/who died on the 16th March 1923/aged 61 years/and his son/WILLIAM P. MACDONALD/who died on the 12th Jan. 1924/aged 28 years/also the said/JAMES MACDONALD/who died 29th July 1926/aged 69 years/and their son/JOHN ALICK/who died at Melbourne/11th May 1955/aged 56 years/also his eldest daughter JESSIE/who died 20th March 1963 aged 77 years/also his youngest daughter HENRIETTA/who died 24th November 1968 aged 78 years/ALICE MARGARET MACLEAN aged 79 years/beloved wife of JAMES MACDONALD, banker, aged 84 years/died 17th and 18th May 1970.
