Erected/by/MARGARET McLENNAN/in loving memory of her son/MURDO McLENNAN/tailor and clothier Evanton/who died 10th January 1899/aged 25 years/also her husband/ALEXr MACKENZIE/who was lost at sea/March 23rd  1876/and of their son/ALEXANDER/who died in infancy.
