In proud memory of/DUNCAN M. MUNDELL, planter, Ceylon/and of Ceylon Planters' Rifle Corps, lost through enemy/action in the S. Atlantic on the 25th March 1941, aged 25/and of Capt. GEORGE V. H. MUNDELL, planter, Ceylon/and Skinners Horse, Indian Army, killed in action/in Italy, on the 11th April 1945, aged 26/the beloved sons of Mr and Mrs GEORGE MUNDELL/Tarradale, Muir of Ord/and his son WALTER IVOR MUNDELL, Tarradale/died 29th Oct. 1973/also of MARY F. MACIVER/died 24th November 1978 aged 91/wife of the said GEORGE MUNDELL/and mother of WALTER, DUNCAN and GEORDIE.

Mundell, Duncan McIver Civilian 25th March 1941 age 24, civilian war dead, Ceylon Planters Rifle Corps. Son of Mr. And Nrs. George Mundell, of Tarradale, Muir-of-Ord, Ross-shire, on S.S. "Britannia" when sunk.

Mundell, George Victor Howatson, Captain, ec/1723 11th April 1945 age 26, 1st Duke of York's Own Cavalry (Skinner's Horse) Indian, son of George & Mary Florence Mundell, of Evanton, Ross and Cromarty. ii, a, 7. Bologna War Cemetery.

George Mundell was son of Walter & Agnes Mundell (no. 11878). He was born on 1886 and died in 1949.
