This stone belongs to my husband's maternal line. Murdoch Cameron married Catherine McLennan 8 Jan 1833 at Auchterflow, Avoch, ROC. They had 7 children from 1833 until 1848 (last one was William b. 1848 who erected this stone. We visited Killearnan for the 2nd time in 2014 and unfortunately it was rather overgrown. I was hoping this particular photo would have had the words which are covered by the turf. Their daughter Mary b. 1842 was my husbands's 2x Gt Grandmother she married Neil Robertson 1873 in Perth.

Hello John. Catherine McLennan's parents were Donald McLennan, cooper, and Madeline McLennan, m.s. McLennan according to her death entry 1890.

may be related to me. My Catherine McLennan married a Donald Cameron and had a son
called Finlay Cameron born 1824/5 Ross & Cromarty who was my G.G. Grandfather.
