Dingwall, St. Clement's

This compact burial ground contains a number of stone-built enclosures, some unfortunately overgrown, and the dilapidated remains of an earlier church building destroyed in late 18thC.

It is in an urban setting, surrounded by roads and car parks, within 300m of the High Street.

The range of professions & trades noted on the stones is a reflection of the burgh's status as the old 'capital' of Ross & Cromarty.
