Alexander Cameron.
Sacred/to the memory of ALEXANDER CAMERON/merchant at Mulchaich,Urquhart/who departed this life on the/7th day of March 1845,/in the 84th year of his age.
His natural talents were of a high/order, and directed by the influence/of religion from his earliest years,/his character both public and private/was marked by the strictest consistency, integrity and decision. He officiated/long and faithfully as an elder in the/church, and his sorrowing family/have in him sustained the loss/of their best earthly friend & counsellor.
This monument is erected as a tribute of respect by his sons, William Cameron, Minister of the parish of Lochbroom, JOHN CAMERON, grocer Tain, and JAMES CAMERON, surgeon, Tain.
