Sacred/to/the memory of/The Rev./DONALD McINTYRE/who died 21st December 1869/in the 67th year of his age/and 35th of his monistry/for nine years he was/missionary of the Braes of Lochaber/for one year was assistant/in the parish of Creich/and for tewnty-five years/incumbent of Kincardine.

He was a faithful pastor/an excellent celtic scholar/and esteemed/in all the relations of life.
