Annie (Bain) Webster. Colin & Mary Bain, s. Henry.

In/loving memory/of/ANNIE BAIN/daughter of/COLIN BAIN/Fluchlady/and wife of/JAMES WEBSTER/who died at/Ladyston, Bunchrew/26th Feby 1907/aged 24 years/also the said/COLIN BAIN/died 9th Aug. 1917/and his wife/MARY MACNEIL/died 25th March 1938/and their son/HENRY/killed in action.

The memorial stone for Annie Webster (nee Bain) was erected at first by Colin Bain, Mary Bain (nee MacNeil), who were my Paternal Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother from Fluchladay, Parish of Kiltearn, and their sons Henry Bain, George Bain and John Bain. Henry( Harry) died in action at the Somme whilst serving with Canadian Forces in September 1918. He is buried at Haynecourt Cemetery, France. George and John are buried at Fodderty Cemetery, Ross-shire, 1978 and 1967, respectively. George and Mary Ann Bain (nee MacDonald) were my Grandparents. John was married to Mary Bain (nee MacKenzie).
