In ever loving memory/of/ROBERT GORDON/who died at/Lower Pitkerrie, Fearn/on 23rd Feb. 1917 aged 72/also of CHARLIE his son/4th Gordon Highlanders/killed in action 23rd July 1916/and of/MARY J. CONNELL/wife of ROBERT GORDON/who died at Edinburgh/on 26th July 1944 aged 80/and of their son/DUNCAN, Captain R.A./killed in action, May 1944.
