George & Margaret (Sinclair) Mackay.


In grateful and affectionate/memory of/Rev. GEORGE MACKAY/ordained at Stornoway 1898/and from 1910 to 1944/minister of Fearn Free Church/gracious preacher devoted pastor/and loyal friend/born at Clashcraggan, Lybster 24th Feb. 1870/died at Tain 24th May 1944.



Erected by his sorrowing congregation/and of his wife/MARGARET MURRAY SINCLAIR/died at Dunbeath, 6th July 1950.

He was born at Clashcraggan, not Glashcraggan, Osclay, in the parish of Latheron in 1870 and registered as George MacKay Matheson, his mother being Christina Matheson.
