Kirkmichael Churchyard.
The parish church of Kirkmichael was superseded in the 18thC when the new Resolis Parish Church was built. The building became dilapidated and some headstones close to it were not accessible.
Through the efforts of the Kirkmichael Trust (link below) and their funding agencies, restoration works to the building are almost complete (as at May 2017).
The churchyard overlooks the bird reserve at Udale Bay and there are views down the Cromarty Firth to Cromarty and the Sutors.
