Erected/by/ALEXANDER MACANGUS/in ever loving memory of/my beloved wife/ANNIE TARREL/died at Hilton/17th July 1943 gaed 58 years/also my dear daughter/MARGARET/died 3rd Dec. 1921 aged 3 years/and my dear son/ALEXANDER/lost at sea/through enemy action/24th July 1940 aged 20 years/and the said/ALEXANDER MACANGUS/died 6th December 1959/aged 83 years/also their daughters/ANDREWINA/died 16th April 1973/["recent"].
