A highly intelligent and interesting man.
He was keen to serve the country as a soldier and his enthusiasm enlisted him younger than what should have been.
He was fair and honest
He married the beautiful Annie from Rhodes Middleton and went on to have 3 children, Joan, James (my father)and Dorothy.
He lived at Taloggie near Tain
We would visit every summer from Manchester and enjoy wonderful afternoon teas, plus on occasional bag of smokey bacon crisps and glass of pop as a treat.
I attended his funeral with my father James.
Harry loved all his grandchildren and saved a wee fund in the post office for all of us, how kind of this noble brave man to always think of others
