Roderick McLennan.

Erected by DONALD McLENNAN late Captain of the brig Dart in memory of his brother RODERICK McLENNAN who was killed with seven of the crew of that vessel in defending her against the treacherous attack made by the Spaniards on the coast of Peru the 5th day of April 1805.



This stone is within the private grounds of Dingwall Castle House, Dingwall.



Donald is commemorated in St. Clements burial ground [Image No. 14331] as are his father & mother Colin & Isabel (Kemp) McLennan [Image No. 14330].
