Erected/in loving memory/of/ANDREW ROSS/who died at Lower Arboll 8th Feb. 1915/aged 78 years/and his wife/CHRISTINA MACDONALD/who died at/Lower Pitkerrie, Fearn/3rd June 1929/aged 78 years/also/his beloved sons/DONALD/stonecutter/aged 28 years/who was drowned/on the 22nd Jany 1906/at Cape Beale B. Columbia/while a passenger/on the illfated/S. S. Valencia/and MURDO/who died in infancy.

Andrew and Christina were my gt-grandparents, my father was named Donald to honour the Donald on this stone.
