In loving memory of/ALEXANDER BAIN, shoemaker, Portmahomack/born 5th May 1820, died 21st March 1919/and his wife/CHRISTINA MACKENZIE/born 5th August 1831, died 13th June 1911/their children/ALEXANDER, born 10th May and died 30th Oct. 1857/KENNETH WILLIAM, born 9th Jan. 1872, died 26th Aug. 1879/CATHERINE, born 6th Aug, 1854, died 25 Sep. 1884/also grandchild ALEXANDER BAIN CORMACK/died 13th July 1884, aged 1 year and 10 months (buried here)/ISABELLA, birn 6th Nov. 1862, died 4th March 1946.
