John & Helen Junor, Robert & Catherine Elder.
**To the memory of JOHN JUNOR, late farmer in Rosemarkie, who departed this life 9th July 1803 in the 70th year of his age;also of HELEN LOGAN, his spouse, who died 25 January 1811, aged 71 years;also to the memory of ROBERT JUNOR, farmer, Castletown, who departed this life 10th April 1835,aged 87 years;and also to the memory of CATHERINE ELDER, his spouse, who departed this life 5th January 1851, aged 78 years.**

Is the date of death of Robert Junor correct? He would have been about 26 years younger than his wife Catherine. Is it possible that he died in 1855 aged 87, rather than 1885? This would make his birth year c.1768 and Catherine's c.1773. They seem to have married on 9 August 1793 at Avoch - her name given in Scotland's People as Katherine.

Well spotted, Bill. It's a typo. It should have been 1835 as Robert's death. The transcription is from a survey carried by the Highland Family History Society in 2004. Roddie
