Not sure if people check these comments but would love if someone in the area could have a crack at reading this one. My 6th great grandparents are John Watt (a weaver) and Margaret McLeaman. There is no record I can find of their births, marriage or deaths but their daughter Catherine Watt was born around 1778 (also no record). If the dates on here fall into that period then I'd say this is them, as there are no other Watts in the area as far as records go. But I can't read much aside from John Watt his spouse Margaret and his sister. Can anyone have a look at the dates and what else is written on here! xx

Hello Kelly
Unfortunately the inscription doesn't help a lot.

"Here lies JOHN WATT, weaver in Fortrose, aged 45; MARGARET WATT, his spouse, aged 50; MARGARET WATT, his sister, aged 73." [Highland Family History Society survey, 2004]

Actually that's a massive help! Knowing the profession, and that how old they were fits with the time period where there are almost no death records in Rosemarkie, I'd say that's my people :) Their daughter was buried in Rosemarkie in March 1856 and I still can't find a record for her, but chances are she's in with husband Andrew Hood 1828. Thanks.
