This gravestone was erected to the memory of my great great great grandfather, Alexander McRae who farmed at Blairfoid. My gt gt grandfather, also Alexander, was a lighthouse keeper. I moved to the Black Isle 15 years ago, quite unaware until recently that my relatives were buried just up the road.
