Erected/by/a number of friends/in memory of/JOHN McLEAN/who acted as elder/in connection with the Free Church/at Gairloch/until his death/died 12th Feby 1881/aged 80 years.He was greatly beloved/and a humble cheerful/and judicious saint/of rich experience/and large sympathies.
