George Bruce.

Erected by the parishioners of Kinlochluichart/and friends in affectionate and enduring/remembrance of their beloved minister/the Rev. GEORGE BRUCE M.A./born at Errol, Perthshire 12th March 1863, ordained/to the holy ministry in 1891. For twenty one years/professor and sometime acting principal of the/Scottish Churches College, Calcutta inducted/to this parish October 1914 and died here/19th March 1929 aged 66 years/a gifted preacher of the gospel. A distinguished scholar in pastoral visitation most diligent/A trusted and wise counselling/a true and tender friend.

"When he had served his day and generation by the will of God/he fell on sleep."

Also his wife/MARGARET G. LEARMONTH/died at Clyne 4th July 1942/and interred there.
