James Kaye.

Sacred/to the memory of/JAMES KAYE/who died at Lochluichart/February 16th 1876, aged 6 years/grandson of JAMES KAYE.


Here lies the young in beauty's bloom/lost full of health and joy/when winter regard in sterest gloom/amid the snows of Meal-an-Moy/how calm and beautiful he lay/upon his bed of snow/his soul has reached the realm of day/where living water flow.

Thank you so much for posting this gravestone. James Kaye Sr was was my gggrandfather and little James Kaye was my 1st cousin twice removed. Poor little fellow died after being lost in the woods for several days.
