Erected/by/JESSIE FRASER/as a tribute of affection/to the memory of/HECTOR MACLEAN/merchant, Alness/and elder of the Free Church there/who died 27th February 1873/aged 74 years/He was consistent in the christian/profession, affectionate as a husband and/dutiful in every realation in life.
