I was very pleased to see this photograph. The island is spelt 'Carriacou' and is in the Grenadine Islands between Grenada and St Vincent.

I too was very pleased to see this photograph. I am researching this family as I am 3xgt.granddaughter of John McLean and would be happy to share information with anyone else interested.

Hi Francis

I would be very interested to know more about John McLean and his slave plantations in Carriacou. My ancestors were slaves on his Grand Bay Estate
