Donald & Barbara (Munro) Ross.

In memory/of/DONALD ROSS, farmer, Ardoch/who died 10th Augt 1846/aged 68 years also of/BARBARA MUNRO, his wife/who died 15th May 1871/aged 74.

Do you think his age could be 58 rather than 68 years? His military papers say he was born about 1789 and the 1841 census gives his age as 50 (rounded down from say, 52) so I believe when he died 10 Aug. 1846 his age would be closer to 58 years. These are my 3rd great grandparents.

Donna, I've had a closer look at the original photo. It looks like 68 to me but I'll check the stone when I'm next over that way.
