In/loving memory/of/ALEXANDER MACRAE/who died at Corran, Arnisdale/14th September 1901, aged 74 years/also his wife/CHRISTINA MACRAE/died at Ardochy, Glengarry/5th July 1925, aged 84 years.

From Alexander's death certificate, his parents were Duncan McRae, fisherman, and Flora Mcrae. Son Duncan was the informant.
Note: correction to headstone: Christina died Ardochy, Glengarry, age 84
