Erected/by/JAMES MACKENZIE/carter/in memory of his dear children/JAMES died 29th January 1908/aged 4 years/HUGH 4th Seforth Highlanders/killed in action at Neuve Chapelle/11th March 1915, aged 23 years/JEANNIE, died 30th Kune 1915/aged 22 years/BETSY GRANT/beloved wife of/JAMES MACKENZIE/died at Clifton Cottage, Saltburn/6th May 1955/also the said/JAMES MACKENZIE/died 27th Oct. 1950/daughter SUSAN/died 25th Sept. 1977.
