In/loving memory of/DOLINA MACLEOD/died at Ivy Cottage/Saltburn/19th Nov. 1949/and Pte./DONALD MACKENZIE/11th Royal Scots/killed in action at Loos/25th Sept. 1915/also/GEORGE MACKENZIE/died 12th August 1958/at Ivy Cottage, Saltburn/ROBERT MACKENZIE/died at South Shields/6th Aug. 1974/the above being the widow/and sons of the late/ALEXANDER MACKENZIE/died 12th January 1936/and interred at Edderton.

Unbelievable - when I was a young girl growing up, I used to visit Ivy Cottage, Saltburn where friends of my father lived.

Their names were Frank Krefta, his wife Margaret Krefta and their three daughters, Hilda, Irene and Dorothy.
