Reference the query about "Rose Cottage", my grandparents David and Helen Milne (nee McLeay)are buried at Fodderty. My wife and I have for some years holidayed in the area and more often than not have stayed at a Rose Cottage. Coming from Dingwall you take the left hand turn immediately before the cemetery. Drive up until you come to what I think is the Old Manse on the right. Opposite on the left is Rose Cottage, which is divided into holiday lets. We have always enjoyed staying there. It is even closer to the Cemetery!

My Grandparents THOMAS CLIFFORD DYER and his wife (my grandmother) Alice Mary Dyer are buried at Fodderty Cemetry .. they lived in a grace and favour house of Tarbat Estate about 200 yards towards Strathpeffer from Fodderty School

Is anyone out there in Scotland able to advise please where my 4th Great Grandparents William and Catherine Matheson nee McKenzie are buried.
He was born Fodderty 1783 and both died before 1876 Pyramid Cottage, George Street, Fodderty.

Barry, depends on their faith. If they were Free church they could be buried in Kinnettas in Strathpeffer. If Church of Scotland, they could be in Fodderty.Have you checked Fodderty Gravestone records? I am unsure if all of Kinnettas is surveyed/recorded.
