In/memory/of/EWEN CAMERON/mason, Bottacks/died 15th Jan. 1895 aged 63 years/his wife CHRISTINA MACRAE/died 8th Nov. 1923 in her 90th year/their son EWEN CAMERON/died 31st Jany 1925 in his 60th year/and HUGH JAMES CAMERON/ grand-son/aged 10 months/and MARGARET MACQUEEN/died 20th Feb. 1956 aged 77/wife of JAMES CAMERON/died 22nd Dec. 1964 aged 95/their son DAVID/died 23rd Sept. 1959, aged 52.

Thank you for this picture. The names are becoming difficult to read. Most of the transcription is correct. However, the name 'EWAN' should be'EWEN' and the name 'Donald' should be 'David'.If you observe the stone 'DAVID' is clearly visible. I know this to be true, as I am named after my Uncle David. Ewen Cameron is my great grandfather. If possible, I shall be pleased if you will make these corrections in the transcription on this web site. Your are to be congratulated on your web site which is a valuable source of information for those interested in family search. Thank you.

Thank you David. Must have been late at night, because looking at my notes (which were accurate) a line was also missed...son Ewen who died in 1925. All now OK, fingers-crossed.
