In memory of A. McKenzie/our father/who passed away on the 15th day of May 1934 aged 91 years.
According to his death certificate Alexander was a crofter, husband of Hannah McKenzie. He died at Shore Diabaig. His parents were Donald McKenzie, crofter, and his wife, Bella McDonald. The witness of his death was his son Finlay, who is (presumably) commemorated on a cross nearby (image 6538). His brother, Finlay is commemorated at No. 6541, and (probably), his sister, Christina at No. 6540.
