Erected/by/His Family/to the memory/of/JAMES MACLEOD/Farmer and Cattledealer/Arcan/who departed this life there/on the 29th Sept 1857/aged 66 years/also/of his son: RODERICK/who died 7th June 1862/aged 27 years/and his wife ANNE MCLENNAN/who died at Arcan 2nd December 1881/aged 72 years/also his sons/JOHN died at Brisbane 23rd March 1863/aged 22 years/DONALD died at Arcan 3rd Decr 1866 /aged 29 years/and his daughter/ANNE died at Arcan 30th May 1870/aged 23 years (Reverse) also/of the foresaid/his son/JAMES died at Arcan 9 December 1889/aged 40 years/and WILLIAM died at Arcan/23rd Novr 1902 aged 49 years/also/his daughter/ELIZABETH died at Arcan/3rd Oct 1911 71 years/and also of ALEXANDER/who died at South Arcan/3rd July 1913/aged 81 years.
