Eva GRANT, the late widow of Wm Lloyd (Scottie) MOORE was one of the daughters of William GRANT of Wm Grant & Sons, Carpenter Contractors, Tulloch St., Dingwall. Scottie's father, a Medical practitioner, had come from his homeland in the Isle of Man, to live and work in Scotland; Scottie's mother had come from Arbroath. Eva & Scottie lived in their earlier years in Edinburgh and then Dunfermline, before moving North, to Eva's home town of Dingwall. Eva had been a teacher; and Scottie had served as an engineer in the Royal Navy from the 1920s; he later became a Navy Engineer Instructor.
