In loving memory of/our dear brother DONALD GRANT/factor for Fairburn Estate 1919-1935/youngest son of the late RODERICK GRANT/farmer, Beallachnagore, Strathpeffer/who died at The Tower, Fairburn/20th Dec. 1935 aged 52/also his eldest brother DUNCAN/who died at Bredenbury, Canada/12th May 1917 aged 42/also JOHN/who died 1st Aug. 1941 aged 62 years/and their sister CATHERINE/who died 2nd May 1950/also MARGARET/who died at Timaru, Strathpeffer/3rd April 1953.

From MarCrt (ScotlandsPeople): Roderick GRANT married Mgt M'GREGOR, at Ballacnacorr [sic], Urrray Parish, on 22nd. Nov. 1867; the son of Kenneth GRANT & Isabel M'KENZIE; his wife Mgt was the daughter of Duncan & Mgt (nee DINGWALL) GRANT: Roderick was said to be aged 20, and Mgt 26 at the date of their marriage.
