Sacred/to the memory of/Rev. WALTER MACQUARRIE/for 42 years (1917-1959)/the faithful pastor of/the Free Church Congregation/of Knockbain/who passed away peacefully/at Woodside, Culbokie/on 31st July 1955 in his 64th year.



An able exposition of the evangel/declaring the message without/fear or favour where ministry/was owned of his Lord he rests/from his labours among the people/whom he loved and in the parish where his entire ministry was spent.
