Janet ( Mckenzie) & Alexander McLeay
In affectionate remembrance/ of the JANET McLEAY/ who died at Fortrose 2nd Jan 1849,/ she was the daughter of/ THOMAS McKENZIE/ of Strath Garve and married firstly/ COLIN McKENZIE/ of Isle Ewe/ interred at Strathpeffer secondly to/ ALEXANDER McLEAY/ of Avoch who also died at Fortrose 31st/December 1848 interred here/ with his wife 5th Jan 1849/ erected by THOMAS MACKENZIE/ manufacturer, Manchester,/ son of the above COLIN MACKENZIE/ and JANET his wife,/ who died suddenly at the Manse, Avoch/21st April 1890, in the 53rd year of his age/ and was interred here 24th April 1890.
