My gggrandfather Donald Chisholm, mariner, was born Gairloch and married 1832 in Lancaster and settled there, dying in 1850. His age was listed differently in different records; either 40 or 65. I think 65 is the accurate age. I can find no more information on him, so checking other Chisholms in Gairloch, hoping for a connection. Can anyone help? Thank you.
