Mary (Maclachlan) McLean.

Erected/by/JOHN McLEAN/in memory of/MARY McLACHLAN/his beloved & affectionate/wife/who died on 30th Augt 1855/aged 32 years.

Mary was the daughter of John and Isabell McLachlan who ran the Inn at Poolewe. She died from tb at a young age in 1855. Her graves lies next to that of her mother who was my partner’s great great great grandmother.
