I may be related to the Skinner family of Avoch in the 18th century. My 5 great grandfather was Donald Skinner (1746-1787) a missionary and later parish minister in Ardnamurchan. His education was sponsored by William Leslie of Cromarty. I am wondering if he may be related to Donald Skinner (1718-1783) and Margaret Davidson (1705-1772). Any help would be appreciated. The names Hugh, Donald and James are found in the family in Nova Scotia.
