Simon MacKenzie born 1788, died 1853, was the 1st born son of Kenneth MacKenzie 2nd of Badluarach and Elizabeth MacKenzie (see picture #10899 Dundonnell graveyard)
Note- Jock MacKenzie(his widow is Sonia(Hansen)MacKenzie who has worked many years on the Findon Tables for Clan MacKenzie and is herself promiment in Clan MacKenzie New Zealand) who was Commissioner of Clan MacKenzie in New Zealand until his death in 2004, descends from Simon.Isobel Rose(MacKenzie)Cawthorne descends from Donald MacKenzie, brother of Simon.

Simon's wife Annabella born 1796, died Dec. 31, 1875 was the daughter of Roderick MacKenzie of Mellon Charles (Gaelic-Mellon Chail)and Barbara MacKenzie, the daughter of Kenneth MacKenzie, son of Alexander MacKenzie 3rd of Ballone who was married to Barbara MacKenzie, daughter of Kenneth MacKenzie 1st of Dundonnell.
Barbara MacKenzie who married Kenneth MacKenzie was the daughter of Barbara MacKenzie who was the daughter of Alexander MacKenzie 1st of Ardloch
Barbara MacKenzie, the daughter of Alexander MacKenzie 1st of Ardloch was married to Roderick MacKenzie, Tackman of Tighnafaoilin who was the 6th son of George MacKenzie 2nd of Gruinard married to Margaret MacKenzie, the daughter of Alexander 2nd of Ballone, son of Alexander MacKenzie 1st of Ballone, son of Sir Roderick MacKenzie Tutor of Kintail and 1st Baron of Coigeach
