looking for more info on my grandfather's birth family - he was adopted at birth john vass kirkwood (01/05/20-30/08/99)...from searches so far this annie dallas would have been his grandmother and william his uncle...his mother was sarah vass and all we know so far is she was born around knockbain and worked as a domestic assistant in edinburgh...my grandfather was born in edinburgh. his mother's surname is not permissable on birth records, but he was given the middle name of vass...and records have led us to sarah.
